Install LINDO and LINGO that came with the textbook and
use them for this homework. 1. Type the formulation of Dakota example given on p. 159 (fig. 6) into LINDO and turn in the screen captures of the formulation and LINDO output. 2. Type the LINGO program given on p. 163 (Sail.lng) and turn in the screen captures of the formulation and LINGO output. Also explain lines 5, 6, 7, and 8 in detail. (The grading of this problem is partially dependent on the clear and detailed explanations.) 3. Solve problem 3 on p. 210 by Excel. Submit the screen copy of the Excel cells. (“Example 11 of Ch. 3” is from p. 82, and its formulation is given on p. 85)
