For this Discussion, we want you to think about the following. Now that we are well into the term...
- Have you started to notice statistics more around you in your daily life?
- Do you feel like you better understand the statistics you see?
- Are you more wary of the claims and headlines that you read?
- Are you more reflective and do you think more critically when you are faced with statistics in your every day life?
Post: Describe a place where you have seen statistics recently (ex: news, in another class, social media) and then we would like you to address some of the questions above in a few sentences. There are no right or wrong answers, but we are looking for you to think and reflect on how this class may have informed how you see statistics in the world around you.
As always - you also need to REPLY to at least one of your classmate's posts. There are lots of ways you can engage! Please refer to How to get FULL Credit on a Discussion Post
to be sure you get FULL credit for this post.
