Overview
For week 3, you will be converting the annotated bibliography you submitted week 1 into a literature review section to follow your introduction section. This week, you will include a revised draft of the introduction section you wrote last week along with the new literature review section. Make sure you've addressed all feedback.
The literature review section of your research proposal should integrate the summaries of at least 4 peer-reviewed journal articles into an argumentative essay that supports your proposed hypothesis. Look through the articles you collected for your Annotated Bibliography and make sure they are the best choice to support your hypothesis. Replace any articles that don't.
End your paper with a section that details your operationalized hypothesis. This means it should be clear how you are going to measure each of your variables. For example, “Higher scores on the Beck’s Depression Inventory will correlate with higher scores on the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, supporting the hypothesis that depression is positively correlated with anxiety.”
Keep in mind that you are writing a research proposal and use future tense when you refer to your study because it has not been conducted yet.
