****** Topic: Habitat (Polar Ice), Organism (Polar Bears) *******
______________________________________________________________________________________________
What to discuss:
You will want to give an overview of your habitat, including geographic locations, physical parameters, key features, and how humans and climate change are impacting the habitat worldwide. Then, you will choose a single organism from the habitat, and detail its biology, ecology, and what impacts humans and climate change have on the organism.
What resources to use: You must use a minimum of 3 primary literature articles—1 for the habitat and 2 for the organism. These would give you current information on experiments, studies, and models looking at the habitat and organism. You want to mention specific data found in those papers. You may use as many secondary sources as you want; but they must be reputable sources. You are NOT allowed to use any encyclopedias of any kind. You may use your textbook (or other textbooks), websites, and review articles. Primary literature sources must be no older than 2010; secondary sources should be as recent as possible.
