Assignment 5.1 – Ethical Leadership Brief (100 points)
Effective leaders do more than recognize ethical challenges—they develop practical solutions that strengthen ethical decision-making and organizational culture.
Prepare an Ethical Leadership Brief that examines one ethical challenge within an organization or group of your choice. Drawing on this week's readings, identify the ethical challenge, apply an ethical framework, and recommend practical leadership actions that could strengthen ethical decision-making.
Choose an organization, team, community group, nonprofit, educational institution, volunteer organization, or another setting that you know well. If you are not currently affiliated with an organization, you may choose one you have previously worked with, one you are familiar with through research, or create a realistic ethical scenario using AI or your own ideas.

Option 1 – Ethical Leadership Brief (Written)
- Approximately 500–600 words (excluding references)

Option 2 – Ethical Leadership Visual Brief
- Create a one-page visual brief (such as an infographic, visual report, decision guide, roadmap, or similar format).
- Include a 200–300-word explanation that explains your recommendations and connects them to this week's course concepts.
Option 3 – Ethical Leadership Brief Presentation
- Individual: 5–6 minutes
- Group: 5–6 minutes per student

Describe one ethical challenge, ethical blind spot, or area of concern within the organization or group. Explain why this issue is important and how it may affect leaders, employees, customers, or other stakeholders.
Part 2 – Ethical Framework
Select one ethical framework or philosophy from this week's readings that could help address the challenge. Explain why it is an appropriate approach and support your analysis with course concepts.
Part 3 – Leadership Recommendations
Recommend three specific leadership actions leaders could take to strengthen ethical decision-making or improve the organization's ethical culture. For each recommendation, explain how it would help address the ethical challenge and reduce ethical blind spots.
