Visuals and graphics are an excellent way of conveying research in professional documents.
This discussion forum will help get you going on your Progress Report assignment, if you haven’t already started. Here I would like you to properly "integrate" three graphics or visuals that you might be able to place in your progress report, including one depicting some important aspect of
- an INTERNAL FACTOR that has a bearing on your charity,
- an EXTERNAL FACTOR that has a bearing on your charity,
- a POSSIBLE PROBLEM OR OPPORTUNITY you have discovered within your charity's operations or services that you would like to investigate further for your final assignments.
At the top of your post, NAME YOUR CHARITY and tell us where it is HEADQUARTERED.
Before you start writing, please view the “Integrating Graphics” slideshow on Moodle – as well as the slides summarizing your textbook’s Chapter 12 (“Creating Graphics”) + today's handout.
A properly integrated graphic has five parts:
- An introductory sentence
- A title
- The graphic itself
- Words identifying the source of the graphic (the picture itself or the information that the picture represents)
- A sentence explaining the graphic's significance.
