Persuasive Speech Forum – Week 3 Discussion
This week, you will watch one of the three persuasive speeches listed below. After watching your selected speech in its entirety, please complete the following:
- Evaluate the Speech
- Respond to the following questions in your post:
- What was the speaker’s main argument or purpose?
- How effectively did the speaker support their argument with evidence or reasoning?
- What persuasive strategies (ethos, pathos, logos) were used, and how well did they work?
- How effective was the speaker’s delivery (e.g., tone, eye contact, body language)?
- Assign a Numerical Grade
- Based on your evaluation, assign the speech a grade on a scale from 1 to 100, with a brief explanation for your score.
