Overview
Topics can be chosen from items covered from Chapters 1 through 4.
Select a current event (within the past few months, not years) topic based on the lectures prior to each midterm. You can choose any topic from reputable news articles/media, environmental and occupational health agencies, published articles from universities. The student will share their thoughts, observations, inquiries, etc. in 150-words. You must include the source and date of the article. The general subject matter must relate to the reading assignment/lecture topic discussed in at least one of the class sessions and should be based on FACTS and sources. This can be submitted online and any time prior to the midterm. Late submittals will not be accepted.
