To prepare:
- Review the Learning Resources for this Assignment.
- Review information on creating an organization chart.
- Read the Doherty et al. (2022) article on the role of healthcare organizations in equity promotion and pay attention to the best practices cited by the diversity, equity, and inclusion experts the authors interviewed.
- Identify at least two HSOs that would be considered competitors to your selected HSO, and then research their mission, vision, values, organizational structure, size, services offered, relative position in the market, and efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Continue to use company websites and the resources, described in Chapter 3 of the textbook, to assist you in your research.

Conduct a comparison of your own HSO to at least two market competitors. In your comparison include:
- Mission, vision, and values statements
- Organizational size and structure chart
- Services offered
- Relative position in the market
- Organizational efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
