Assignment: Describe what you have begun or intend to do for research in support of your Capstone. This should be a summary, but can be slightly more detailed than what you post in the discussion thread on the same topic. It should describe BOTH your Literature Review and Action Research. This assignment is an opportunity for you to get feedback from both the class and the instructor while there is still sufficient time to make adjustments in your research methodologies. Format for Research Plan & Tools Assignment
- Project Overview - One to three sentence summary of your project, including the organization and proposed change.
- Questions & Information Needed - Your key questions to be addressed or information needing to be identified through your research.
- Literature Review and Secondary Research - short description (2-3 paragraphs) of what you intend to research through any secondary sources, such as the library, white papers, reports, government, and demographic dat,a etc.
- Action Research and Primary Research - short description (2-3 paragraphs) of research that you intend to do yourself to discover new information. This could be through personal interviews, focus groups, or employee/stakeholder surveys.
- Questions for the Instructor - any uncertainties you have about how to proceed, etc.
