Overview
For this optional extra credit opportunity, you will share a technology tool that has helped you succeed as a student. This must be an app that you actively use. The goal is to explore how the technology you engage with can be used in ways that support your learning, and to start a class-wide conversation about these resources.
Note: You must create your own original post before you will be able to see and respond to your classmates’ posts.
Part 1 – In-Class Mini Presentation (MUST BE A POWERPOINT)
- You’ll give a 2-minute lightning presentation in class to introduce your chosen tech tool.
- Focus on the essentials: what it is, how it has helped you, and why you’d recommend it.
Part 2 – Discussion Board Post
- After class, post a short write-up (150–200 words) in this discussion thread.
- Include:
- The name of your app.
- A short description of what it offers.
- How it has personally helped you as a student.
- Why you believe it would benefit others in the class.
- Provide a link, handle, or screenshot so classmates can explore it themselves
Credit
- Successful completion of all parts earns up to 5% extra credit toward your final grade.
