[Image unavailable: Static Electricity Warning.]
You learned about Static Electricity in the last Module.
When I'm at a gas station, I always touch the side of my car before using the pump. Sliding out of a car seat builds up a static electric charge. Touching the side of the car discharges this. This was more important when I lived in Minnesota, where winters are very cold and dry. Humid air is better at draining away static charge.
