Final Project: Integral Project of Behavioral Intervention
Objective: To summarize the content of the course in a comprehensive behavioral intervention project that demonstrates competence in the choice, implementation, and adjustment of interventions.
Final Project Structure: Students must develop a detailed report that includes the following elements:
1. Customer Selection
Choose a real or hypothetical client with specific behavioral needs.
Describe the client's profile and the behavioral challenges they face and define a problematic behavior operationally.
2. Development of the Intervention Plan:
Choose at least 5 of the following options to apply to your case. Explain the use and implementation of the selected strategies.
Strategies to manipulate previous events that influence behavior.
Application of positive and differential reinforcements to strengthen alternative behavior.
Choose the strategies of modeling, error-free learning, shaping and/or chaining that can be used with the client to develop their behavioral skills.
Application of Skinner's Verbal Behavior Analysis principles.
Use of extinction, types of punishment and differential reinforcement to modify disruptive behaviors.
Design of economics programs of chips or behavioral contracts.
Implementation of strategies to promote autonomy and the maintenance of behavior.
Write an analysis of the implementation of the interventions, the effectiveness of the strategies used and the expected results, the ethical considerations, recommendations for future interventions, and in the conclusion a summary of the work with the lessons learned.
3. Presentation of the Project
Video exposure with justification of the plan.
