Application of Goldratt’s Evaporating Cloud

For the following two situations, use the Evaporating Cloud Method to creatively problem solve a way to settle the conflict. Show the drawing and your recommendations. Please submit your assignment in TurnItIn:

Situation: 1
A manager on one of the teams prefers to take a hands-off approach, allowing team members to set their own project deadlines and determine their own workflows. One of the employees prefers clearly established directions and wants the manager to tell them what to do and when. This employee’s work is suffering, and the manager is irritated.

Situation: 2
I have a friend I love and because of that, we want to live together. At the same time, I want to have a dog in the house because it relaxes me, and I am “a dog person”. Unfortunately, my friend is allergic to dog hair, so she wants to live in a “dog-free” house.
