For this milestone activity, you should consider the observation that the psychotherapeutic drugs covered in this module tend not to be abused. Based on what you've learned in this module regarding their behavioral and neurochemical effects and what you've learned throughout this course, why do you think this is so? In answering this question, you only need to discuss one drug from this module. So for instance, you may choose a tricylcic antidepressant or a typical antipsychotic or lithium to address specifically in your response.
The point of this exercise is to get you thinking about common things that have been true of drugs that have abuse liability and what makes your chosen drug different from the others. Because this activity is designed to get you to start synthesizing information throughout the course, you need not do any external research but you may want to revisit information covered in earlier modules. This is an excellent way to begin tying information across the course together in preparation for the final assessment.
Your response should be 2-3 double-spaced pages (12 point font, one-inch margins all around) and saved in a Microsoft Word compatible file format.
