Overview
These 7 memos will reflect your response to the reading(s) of that should be around 300 words long. The intention is that you have given readings some thought before class and spelled out some questions and observations in advance.As an orientation, memos may contain the following elements:
- at least one question that you think we should be thinking about together as a class
- a description of why you think it is important for us to consider that question
- a reference to a specific passage in the text that led you to want to ask this question
- a reference to a current news piece or reflection on a personal experience
