Engineering Question

Overview

Aims: The purpose of the assessment is to reflect on the systems methods and tools presented during the module, and explored in the formative group exercises and to explore the underlying principles that enable the selection of combinations of methods that lead to a foundation of understanding for subsequent stages in systems engineering.

Description of task(s) to be completed:During the module, you studied different methods for both soft and hard modelling and took part in formative group exercises, which allowed you to explore how models can be used in conjunction with one another to holistically represent a problem space and derive a suitable logical solution. Please now reflect on this experience and evaluate, with examples, the extent to which you think models can be successfully used together to fully encompass a problem space and underpin initial logical architecture/solution representation.

In your work, include one original new model that you have created for the assignment, from the several types seen in class.

Marks will be gained for the following aspects:

- A personal reflection on the group exercises (in file class exercise): what did you think went well, what went badly, and why? (1,000 words, 25%). (MOSTLY IT HAS BEEN IN THE UAE FLOOD), IN ALL EXERCISES. WRITE MORE ABOUT YOUR LOGIC AND ASSESSMENT. YOU CAN ADD DIAGRAMS AND POINT SPECIFICALLY ON POINT.

 Read COURSEWORK; it shows everything in detail and follows the rubric.

 In the file named (class exercise), it has all the exercises; only use these exercises to answer this part of the question.

 It been using about 8 module in this class exercise (CLD,VSM,RICH PIC,ROOT DEFNATION,CATOWE,CM,SENARIO BULDING,DECA)

 There is a file named "case study about (UAE flood)" that has been built in this assignment.

 Don’t use outsourcing; there is a file named (source) it has all the sources you need

  A personal assessment of how hard and soft models may—or may not—complement each other to improve problem and solution understanding (2,000 words, 50%).

 Focus more on the class module file and what you understand.

 Express your answer and focus in the source file I provide.

 - Creation of supporting examples and a new model to support your answers to the above questions (25%). From Q1 + Q2 (for example, the flood in the UAE), proof of a point (for example, the VSM model).

 The VSM module is a good choice to create , it has more examples in the class exercise file.

Use MIRO TO CREAT THIS ONE

  Deliverables required and submission information:

The following rules should be observed when writing your individual reflective assignment:

 The assignment should be no more than 3000 words. A tolerance of +/- 5% of the word count will be permitted

 Diagrams do not count toward the assignment word limit

 The content of any tables WILL count toward the assignment word limit

 Marks will be deducted for inaccurate referencing

 Marks will be deducted for poor clarity or presentation
